This will be an excellent year to begin apple fundraising due to the large crop in Washington State. The growing season was perfect for the size and quality of the apples to be outstanding.

ApplesOnline Fundraiser information:

There are two types of Fundraisers:
(1) Sell bags of apples
(2) Have the customer come later to our website and place orders.

You should be able to earn 100% on the bags and 10% on the internet sales. It is not necessary to sell bags to entitle your Fundraiser to sell from the internet, but it is encouraged in order for your customers to try the apples first to see the quality they will be receiving.

Bag Fundraiser: Apples will come in a 40 lb. bushel box, either tray pack or 8/5 lb. bags, depending on where you are located in the country.

If you receive tray packs you will also be sent the bags needed for your club or school to pack them into.

ApplesOnline will give you a delivered price and drop ship to your location or a wholesale outlet located near your fundraiser. This will allow for timelier shipping of apples. You would then make arrangements to pick them up at your expense. Example: At a $25 delivered price, you could then sell them for a 100% mark-up ($50 or about $1.25/lb) which would still be cheaper than prices in the stores along with being a fresher product. Pricing is subject to the following: time of season, variety of apple, size of apple, amount you will be buying, and distance to be shipped. We will send you order forms that you can fax back to us.

Please Note:
If you hold a Bag Fundraiser, you are also automatically enrolled into the Internet Fundraiser. If any of your customers then go online to make a purchase, your group will receive 10% commission for those sales.

Internet Fundraiser: This is a great idea for an ongoing fundraiser. Earn money all year! ApplesOnline will give you a fundraiser number to give to anyone to come to their website and purchase apples directly from them. ApplesOnline will then pay your group 10% commission on the apples. Example: price for the apples is $24 and shipping is $12 for a total cost of $36. Your school would receive 10% of the $24 or $2.40 in commission. You will be able to check at any time to see how much money you are making. Fundraisers will get a check once a month unless activity is such that it doesn't warrant writing a check. The money earned will then carry forward to the following month. ApplesOnline will need an identification Fundraiser number for tax purposes. Customers are encouraged to place their orders online themselves, but if they do not have access to a computer, you can request order forms be sent to you.

As we mentioned before, it is not necessary to sell bags to sell from the internet, but it is encouraged in order for your customers to try the apples first to see the quality.

Payment requirements: A credit card is required when the order has been placed by the Fundraiser. Fundraiser will then have the option of sending money order or have money wired after Fundraiser has enough time to collect money. After said time (7 to 10 days) if money is not received we will charge your credit card plus 3% of the total charge.
